Aaron Abbott is the 4th generation sawyer to run this sawmill. Growing up he watched his father and uncle mill lumber, helping out whenever he could.  After returning home from spending some time living out west and going to college he knew he wanted to get the mill up and running again.  After a lot of work, a little carpentry, and a new generator, the mill was able to once again produce lumber.

In addition to lumber and hay products, Aaron and his wife Brittany raise a variety of livestock including Dexter cattle, Nubian dairy goats and a mixed flock of laying hens.  The couple grows a variety of produce for their own family.  In 2022 they started planting a variety of Christmas trees on the farm and in 2023 hope to offer a pick your own pumpkin patch.
